Good swimming here and a dock from which to launch your canoe or kayak. Ideal setting for the naturalist with lots of waterfowl in the spring in the cove itself and plenty of opportunities for birding nearby. The famous Kaiser Crossroad wetlands are just down the road where hundreds of waterfowl congregate every March and April during spring migration.
