LOOK WHAT FLEW THROUGH THE COUNTY

Based on her very successful and popular column in The Times, author Yvonne Buys is proud to announce the publication of her new book. The book is filled with outstanding colour photos of all but a few of the 364 bird species that have been documented in Prince Edward County. Assisting in this project was David Bree, retired chief naturalist at Presqu’ile Park, and Terry Sprague, retired interpretive naturalist and author.

Totally exceeded our expectations; however, on the advice of several people Yvonne is not expected to print more at this time. We will see if there are significant requests and then may consider another run in a year. The book was produced as a fund raiser for the Prince Edward Point Bird Observatory, and after costs, the book will have raised over $10,000!

The book had been available ($45.00) from retailers, but it is expected that few, if any, remain at any of these locations:
