BARNACLE GOOSE (Peterborough): Jake Nafziger found one north of Hastings,
along Blezard Line on April 19 that was seen by many to at least April 23.

Eurasian Wigeon (Huron): An OFO trip led by Dana and Tony Latour found a
male at Hullet Marsh on April 21 that remained until at least April 22.

TUFTED DUCK x scaup sp. (hybrid) (Toronto): The male bird found February 9
off Tommy Thompson Park continued to at least April 23.

Eared Grebe (Durham): Mike Ferguson and Charmaine Anderson found one off
Thickson’s Point on April 21 that remained until at least April 23.

Western Grebe (Hamilton/Halton): Joanne Muis Redwood found one off LaSalle
Park on April 24 (possibly the same bird seen earlier this month) that
remained to at least April 25.

BLACK-NECKED STILT (Bruce): A group from the Bruce Birding Club found one
at Browns Pond on Concession 2, east of Tiverton on April 22.
BLACK-NECKED STILT (Middlesex): The one found by Mark Bakelaar at Strathroy
Sewage Lagoons on April 9 continued to at least April 25.

Pacific Loon (Toronto): Gavin Platt and Paul Prior photographed one off
Tommy Thompson Park on April 22.

NEOTROPIC CORMORANT (Chatham-Kent): A group of birders east of Wheatley
reported one in flight on April 24

YELLOW-CROWNED NIGHT-HERON (Algoma): The adult bird found by Chris
Hennessey at 17 Alworth Place, Sault Ste Marie on April 18 was refound a
bit to the west at Gladstone and MacDonald on April 23 and seen again there
on April 24.

Glossy Ibis (Simcoe): Graham Sharpe found one on Hampshire Mills Line
between Coldwater and Washago on April 20 that was seen by many to April 21.

SWALLOW-TAILED KITE (Norfolk): LPBO volunteers reported one from the Old
Cut Field Station on April 22.

Swainson’s Hawk (Chatham-Kent): Steve Charbonneau photographed one west of
Port Alma on April 24.
Swainson’s Hawk (Hamilton): Rich Poort reported one near Winona late on
April 22.

Black-billed Magpie (CHATHAM-KENT): Two birds continued this week from the
Shrewsbury area.

Smith’s Longspur (CHATHAM-KENT): One bird was reported with a flock of
migrating Lapland Longspurs east of Wheatley on April 24.

Yellow-rumped Warbler (AUDUBON’S) (Bruce): Zane Shantz found and
photographed a male at Lions Head harbour on April 20.

Dickcissel (Huron): Joanne Hastie photographed one in Goderich on April 24.
Dickcissel (Norfolk): One bird was observed and later captured and banded
at the tip of Long Point by LPBO on April 23 and remained until at least
April 25. Another was reported from Long Point PP by Stu Mackenzie on April
2.
